In air freight, CO2 emissions are receiving more and more attention. Logistics companies in particular are paying close attention to these values. For good reason: From 2023, European companies with more than €40 million in sales or 250 employees must disclose their carbon footprint annually. Saving CO2 is therefore in the interest of both logistics companies and their customers.
The problem is, however, that there are hardly any exact values for the emissions generated, since, for example, the type of aircraft used for a shipment is not known. The values are thus estimated – and turn out to be higher than they actually are.
BlueBox Systems is different: The innovative airfreight tracking platform enables shipments to be tracked in real time on the basis of a wide range of data – including the type of aircraft used and its consumption values Thus, the platform offers the most accurate tracking on the market and the possibility to save CO2 emissions by directly comparing delivery routes, airlines, airports and the types of aircraft used.
But BlueBox Systems goes one step further: through the partnership with myClimate, the CO2 emissions generated can be directly offset again if desired. More about the partnership and the compensation project can be found here.
We will be happy to show you the platform and the display of data such as ATA/ETA, Chargeable weight, Delay, Airline, Aircraft type, Transshipment Port, Split Shipment and of course CO2 emissions.
